Come along and celebrate all things science fiction – and science fact – with a day of hands-on, drop-in family fun.

There’ll be the Festival’s Pop-Up Storytelling Armchair, exciting science quests and experiments courtesy of Sandford Mill and Chelmsford Museums; brain warping workshops for young ‘techies’ kindly supplied by Essex Libraries; and lots of astronaut and lunar themed fun activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing in 1969.

This event is part of Essex Book Festival’s Science & the Imagination weekend at Anglia Ruskin University and other venues in Chelmsford, taking place on Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 March.
